A Brief History
Having over 115 years combined gospel music experience, the members of “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” were hand-picked by Almighty God in 2003. From the Northern and Middle portions of West Tennessee, group members have a yearning to reach those who are LOST and in need of a Savior. Thus, this group of men took to the road and have carried their ministry to people abroad for Christ. “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” has two accomplished songwriters, one BMI-affiliate and the other an ASCAP member since 1985. Their first single release climbed the Christian Country-Gospel National charts, toping the charts at #10 [Christian Country-Gospel Perspective Magazine Charts]. Their Record & Radio Promotion has been handled by the likes of The Rick Hendrix Music Group, (Nashville, TN) and Vision Quest (North Carolina). As a corporation, RGM, Inc. also functions as a promotion company, produces recordings, and is proprietor of “Renewed Ministries Publishing Co.”, an affiliate of ASCAP (New York, NY & Nashville, TN).
PErsonal Appearances
Over the course of their ministry experiences, either the current ministering group of men or individual members (when with other groups &/or venues) have appeared in many cities across the United States of America. Along the way, some of the other southern- gospel and country-gospel artists with whom they have appeared include: “Aaron Wilburn“, “The Kingsmen“, “Fathers Four”, “Vern Gosdin“, “Dr. Buck Morton“, “Four Fold”, “The Inspirations“, “The Hopper Brothers & Connie“, “The Florida Boys“, “The Cathedrals“, “The Chuck Wagon Gang“, “Gold City“, “The Holcomb Sisters”, “The Blackwood Brothers”, “Crimson Gold”, “Joan Gregory“, “The Melody Boys“, “The Spear Family“, “Janice Crow”, “The Gabbards”, “Crimson River”, and “J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet”, to name a few. There have been numerous Television appearances over the years, including “The Nashville Network” and, most recently, the “Victory Network” and the “TCT Network”. “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” has been privileged to open the 2006 NAIA College Basketball tournaments, and they most recently performed at the popular BELLEVUE Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. Moreover, they were humbled through recognition by Tennessee State Governor, Phil Bredesen, “for their contributions to Gospel music”. As a total, members of the group have been commissioned as “Ambassadors of Good Will” by the governors of nine (9) states.
Purpose and Expanded Mission:
In addition to God’s call for winning souls and restoring unity in churches, their ministry carries with it a desire to help those in special need. The ministry-minded quartet has accomplished this through their support of significant causes while aiding in raising funds and increasing awareness through: “The Knights of Columbus”, “Relay-For-Life” & “The Walk-of-Hope Foundation” Cancer Drives, “The Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse”, “The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation”, “The Cerebral Palsy Foundation”, and “St. Jude Children’s Hospital“.
No doubt, the time allotted to reach the LOST is nearing completion. As previously noted, “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” has a heart to reach all that will hear and respond. And, if you share the same conviction, this ministering group asks for the chance to come and worship with you. They will promote Jesus Christ through song, personal testimony, and a willingness to meet people where they are by joining them in prayer and asking God to meet what ever needs they have in their life. “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” follows the leadership of the Holy Spirit in their services. So, each experience is a bit different than the last as God works in a variety of ways and in HIS time. By having this group of ministering men to come and share in your church or organization, you can rest assured that God’s purpose through them will be fulfilled and that God will receive ALL honor, glory, and praise…

Basic needs:
If you choose to have “RENEWED Gospel Quartet”, the following are needed in order to make the ministering experience as successful as possible:
(1) PRAYER: This is the most vital thing that you and your church/organization can possibly do. Pray and make certain that this group is THE group God intends on being there with you.
(2) ACCESS: “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” needs access to the building, church, auditorium, etc. at least three (3) hours prior to worship time. This is a time set aside for setting sound equipment and prayer.
(3) PRODUCT AREA: “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” respectfully requests a high traffic location for which to set-up their product table. Please be informed and assured that ALL proceeds from sales go toward advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The members of “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” accept NO personal payment for any services rendered in their singing and witnessing duties to the LORD. They do accept cash and all major credit cards going toward the purchasing of gospel CD’s, Tapes, Videos/DVDs, Pictures/Photographs, T-shirts, etc. Sorry, no personal checks are accepted.
(4) ADVERTISEMENT: Tell all of your family & friends (especially the LOST) that there’s going to be a good old-fashioned gospel music and worship service. Most newspapers will run FREE ads for church events, so be sure to inform the paper, radio, etc. and distribute community flyers (see insert). Let‘s do all we can together to get them there and win another soul for Jesus… “RENEWED Gospel Quartet” will be happy to assist you in these or any other advertising matters if needed. Just let us know…
“RENEWED Gospel Ministries Quartet” would consider it a special privilege to come and worship with you. Remember, the NUMBER ONE (#1) goal is not to merely entertain but to serve the LORD. Their purposeful devotion is to reaching the LOST with the GOOD NEWS of THE SAVIOR who passionately and unconditionally LOVES them and to do so with the witness that God has provided to each of them.
